  • CDMX-Merida.

Car

      • 1. Exit the airport and head southeast on Merida – Uman road toward 23rd St.
      • 2.Continue straight and keep right at the fork, following signs for Tizimín/Cancún and merge onto Mérida – Valladolid/México 180.
      • 3. Follow Mérida – Valladolid/México 180 for approx. 65 km (40 mi).
      • 4. Turn left onto 26th St., following signs for Ek Balam.
      • 5. Continue onto 19th St & then onto 22nd. St.
      • 6. UNajil Ek Balam will be on your right-hand side
      • 7. The total driving time is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public transportation

    • 1. From the airport, take a taxi or a bus to the bus station in Merida.
    • 2. Take a bus to the town of Temozon. Buses run frequently throughout the day.
    • 3. From Temozon, take a taxi or a shared taxi/minivan to Ek Balam. U Najil is located at the back entrance of the Ek Balam archaeological site.
    • 4. Note: It’s recommended to arrange transportation in advance with U Najil to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.
